I ordered 23 packages on Sunday to pick up on Tuesday. When I picked it up I asked if they had the gift box they had before, the helper said they don 't have it anymore, then I asked why the package is not like the one when I ordered online, a better looking one, since this going to be gift for my co workers. She said only if I order half pound each. When I walk out the door, right away she told the other girl she is stupid, xxxxxxx . In Chinese. I was still right there and I can still hear, and she is so loud. Then she is on and on and on how stupid I am for at least 5 mins. I like the jerky, but not someone calling me stupid because I want to have better packaging for my order.

I lived in Singapore for a considerable amount of time and am very familiar with the local Bee Cheng Hiang jerky aka bak kwa . This is close to the famous Singapore brand bak kwa , with room for improvement. In my opinion, the jerky sold here is too sweet and too wet with syrup, it 's also lacking in the burnt spots you get from traditional bak kwa . I truly believe if these twos are addressed, it will give the Singapore jerky flagship good competition. I 'd love to also see them sell the chicken jerky, Bee Cheng Hiang sells this and it 's extremely popular.

This is a must visit spot to get a great jerky fixing. I come to this place every time I'm in town, it a must have. Average about $30 a 1 pound of jerky. But it's so addictive that a 1 pound doesn't last enough for 1 marvel movie. (This theory has been testing, I know) I personally get myself 3 lb of the pork tender, soft, sticky sweet and hint of smoke taste. They offer samples you can ask to try the selection of the jerky. There is a selection of beef as well.

Prices are clearly stated, options are separated by meat type, and you can ask them to trim the large pieces into strips so you dont have to do it at home. They're the first place I've tried this type of jerky and its worth the price! Their jerky is sweet and soft.

You’ll want to get this if you want good 豬肉亁with no preservatives. They offer different types: spicy and bacon mixed, but we prefer the OG pork only. They also have beef jerkies. Well packaged and worth paying a bit more than what you get at the supermarket.

Excellent jerky, good selection. There used to be a market near my house that would sell this style of jerky but it closed so I've been looking for this stuff for years. A little pricey but worth it. Will be back.

Like the way they made the jerky, hard to tell why I like it, very personal.

Gross tastes and smells awful. Nothing like the real stuff from Singapore.
