Franco Manca Belsize

Popped in for dinner between two days in hospital at the royal free. Nice relaxed atmosphere usually but this time sadly the chef was playing loud rock drowning the piped musac. But worse than that was a fellow diner trying to impress a dinner date with his swearing vocabulary. He was loud and the staff were obviously aware how uncomfortable we all were. I was 4 tables away and heard every word spoiling my evening. The staff did nothing! Disappointing but a nice pizza with good red wine

The food is always amazing! We had a parmigiana and pizza and it was great as always. It's the place to go for your Italian fix! Also their home made lemonade is delicious. The service is pretty quick and the waiters are always so lovely and attentive at my local branch (Belsize Park Station and that really makes one's day! Thank you Belsize Park Franco Manca team :

Our server, Ilaria, truly made our evening memorable. She was incredibly accommodating and willingly provided us with recommendations, despite our indecisiveness. Her friendly and cheerful demeanor, coupled with the delicious food, ensured that we all had a fantastic dining experience. We have unanimously agreed that we will definitely be returning in the future.

This used to be THE place to go, somewhat superior to the still good Pizza Express only a few doors away. But this visit failed to impress. Thin coating of tomata paste for the pizza. They'd run out of hard goats cheese for the pizza special. The tiramisu was a travesty sponge and chocolate sauce (doubtless a bit more but that was all that came through). Reserva una mesa ahora

The food was fantastic, but the standout was the staff, particularly our server, Ilaria. She went out of her way to cater to our dietary requests and ensure that we were well taken care of. Ilaria was incredibly friendly and just what we needed after a tiring week of work and school.
