The Sicilian Pizza! For an Italian deep dish pizza weighing in at probably 7 pounds this was phenomenal. For about 20 dollars this pizza was worth it in my book, it could very well fill up 4 hungry men. The pizza is also sold by the slice if you’re not up for several days of leftovers or a giant feast. Can’t wait to try some more of these Italian cuisines down at Franco’s especially if it’s anything like the pizza. The only thing I caution you with is that there was about a 35 minute wait for the pizza around 5 pm, just call ahead and you will be golden.
I finally visited this restaurant after a long time and it was totally worth it. I absolutely enjoyed the Angel Hair Pasta with Meat Sauce - the best I've ever had at a restaurant. The salad was fresh and crisp, and the hot homemade bread with sweet butter and olive oil with herbs for dipping was a delight. I will definitely recommend this place to others and can't wait to try more of their menu items next time I'm passing through Dover, DE.
Had a bad experience there almost17 yes. decided to eat again. The waitress was so infectious with her great personality. Promptly served our drinks and took our order. It soon followed salad and fresh bread. I ordered chicken fatty succines with Alfredo sauce. Chicken was perfectly cooked and the sauce was delicious, not too heavy as most. The whole dinner was excellent and I'll be back. Prices just a bit high, but food was worth it.
Franco's Pizza Pasta is incredible! The food is tasty, with large portions for a reasonable price. The staff is accommodating and strives to make sure every guest has a wonderful dining experience. During my last visit, I ordered a Sicilian pizza with all the toppings, and it was probably the best I've ever had! If you're craving delicious pizza, subs, or pasta, I highly recommend giving Franco's a chance. You won't regret it.
Best pizza place in Dover, DE! A tad on the price side, but it makes for quantity and quality!! The waitress was Italian and spoke in her mother tongue, making it feel like you were part of Italy. The pizza is phenomenal and would recommend everyone to check this place. I'm from the south, so we don't have so many authentic Italian restaurants that I know, but this one in the N.East is excellent.
I had the eggplant and sausage Parmigiano sub. It was amazing. I couldn 't do it justice because I was full from the piping hot, fresh, Italian bread with Italian butter which was delectable. The atmosphere, and the staff are warm and inviting. Very cozy and intimate. They keep the place immaculate. They actually wipe down the chairs as well as the table after the customers leave.
Outstanding, old school, friendly Italian restaurant. Service was great, food was even better. Found it while on our way from VA Myrtle Beaches to NH. Needed a place for lunch and to relax for a bit. We found the perfect place and it was right off the highway. Will definitely go there again if we are in the area.
Delicious, authentic tasting Italian dishes served in huge portions! The homemade bread with dipping oil is so good as well as the house made Italian dressing! The pasta dishes have never disappointed..so full of flavor and ingredients! Fantastic little place to go if you're in Dover, Deleware!
