As for the baked penne, I specifically chose it because of the mixed reviews, thinking, how bad can a dish of pasta with mozzarella and ricotta be? To my surprise, it was not really a baked pasta dish at all. Instead, it was just a pile of penne mixed with sauce and topped with mozzarella, which was then maybe popped in the oven for a few minutes to melt the cheese. I didn’t taste any ricotta cheese whatsoever. Honestly, come on guys, you can do better with just a little more effort.

I’ve ordered from her before and the food has always been consistently good however, today I ordered a sandwich and it was missing so many of the ingredients plus I added, which all made it to the sandwich but the sandwich was tasteless. Unfortunately, the quality is superb just so disappointed with today’s order everybody’s entitled to an off day. Just very disappointed as I was starving and excited for the sandwich. Frank Anthony's is one of the best environments that a city like Verona can have. Staff and owners are very friendly and always ready to help with your concerns. At the occasions I have there, the food and especially the cheese has always remained of the freshest quality. The sandwiches are always a crowd gift when they are maintained. All in all a very nice restaurant with very friendly people.

Had my daughter-in-law's to be shower there on 7/15/23. Could not have been happier. Food was fantastic, portions plentiful and service was superb. Wish I could give them more than 5 stars. I can’t say enough positive things about this restaurant. Professional service, clean and organized, and most importantly the quality of food is out of this world. Without a doubt the best pizza I’ve had ever had. Menu is phenomenal I would highly recommend them for personal or catering. You cannot go wrong.

Delicious pizza and sandwiches! There’s a lovely outdoor dining area if you prefer. The waitress was very friendly, but it seemed like she could use more help to serve the tables efficiently. Service: Dine-in. Meal type: Dinner. Price per person: $10–20.
