Frank's Chicago Shrimp House

Chanel is kind and provided excellent customer service. This was my very first experience with Frank 's Chicago Shrimp. Prior to ordering, I had decided to ask Chanel a few questions. She answered them with professionalism and patience. I ordered a quarter pound (1/4lbs) of the Chicago fried shrimp. She then told me that it would be a few minutes and I said awesome I 'm going to step next door real quick . When I returned to the restaurant, Chanel greeted me and said hey by the way I overcooked the shrimp by a couple of seconds however I 'm cooking you another batch. I ordered two pounds of catfish claims onion rings French Fries and onion rings. To start off I was not aware that all the food is cooked in the same grease. With that being said some in our home were not able to eat the food due to a shell fish allergy. I asked for a refund and the management said there was nothing that they could do. For those of us who were able to eat the food we were very dissatisfied. The catfish did not taste like catfish and it had a very fishy taste and odor. It's not anything more than a fast food atmosphere wirh tables and not anything less than I expected. The Jumbo Shrimp were perfect and believe the are batter dipped but not greasyat all..... VERY good and worth every penny!! All meat with the Jumbo Gulf Shrimp I couldn't even say there was a tail on them!!! Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner

Yum!! I've been hearing so many people talk about this place, I had to try it! I got the chicago gulf shrimp and some hush puppies. Fantastic! Big suckers, nice and crispy!
