NOTE: This review is from my experience at Frannie's concession stand at the Taste of Chicago on 09/07/2024. I had the lemonade Italian ice. 5/5. It was delicious. Slightly too sweet, but I loved the interesting silky texture as it melted on my tongue. And lemonade is my favorite drink, so I was very happy to see they had it on the menu in Italian ice form. I wish they made the serving a little bigger. I was not offered/suggested other sizes, so if they were available, I was not made aware. Staff was friendly and the stand stood out and had good marketing. I will need to visit a location to try the street food. I will do a follow up review.
I’ve tried all the popular, highly-rated beef sandwich places out there—Al's, Portillo's, Buona, Bob-O's, Frangella's, Jay's, Chickie's, Johnnie's, and others. Today, I made a trip to Frannie’s, and I’ve found my clear favorite. The winner is... Frannie’s! Their beef is 100% lean and incredibly flavorful, without all that unnecessary salt. It’s also perfectly moist and juicy. Honestly, it’s the best beef sandwich I’ve ever had, anywhere. I paired it with their homemade Italian Ice, which was refreshingly delicious and not overly sweet. I can’t wait to go back and enjoy it again!
Frannie's is a must when I'm in the area, coming home from golfing at Indian Boundary, minutes away, love their beef and fries, hard to beat, close to the Rosemont CTA Blue-Line station too, great way to wrap up a work day! Worth the trip, every time...fast, friendly service prepared perfectly.
Bad service especially two of them wearing glasses talking like a gang! Only from behind the table Second: They mix pork with hamburger on one grill, and this is the worst thing Third: The entire store is smoked from grills, meaning you will come out with the smell of charcoal on your clothes

First time here. Loved the experience. Great beef sandwich. Zucchini sticks were wonderful. More Zucchini than breading
Everything on the menu is excellent, and the staff is consistently friendly.
