Freddy's Frozen Custard Steakburgers

TERRIBLE CLEANLINESS. This restaurant definitely needs a visit from the health department. I stopped by about an hour after they opened on Saturday, and I was shocked by the state of cleanliness. Nearly every surface was dirty, with floors that appeared to have gone weeks without a mop. The bathroom was unhygienic, with various substances stuck to the walls. Every table was unclean, and there were greasy fingerprints all over the windows. The beverage area hadn’t been wiped down in ages, and there was a considerable amount of trash that hadn’t been swept from under that space or behind the trash bins. I ordered food without realizing how bad the conditions were until after I paid the cashier...

FILTHY DIRTY. The health department should visit this place. I visited about 1 hour after they opened on Saturday. Just about every surface is dirty. The floors look like they haven't been mopped in weeks. The bathroom was gross, with all kinds of stuff stuck to the walls. Every table was dirty. Greasy finger prints all over the windows. The beverage area hasn't been wiped down in a while, and there's all kinds of garbage that hasn't been swept out from under that area or behind the trash cans. I ordered food but didn't see how bad things were until after I paid the cashier and looked for a table. Lost my appetite about half way through the meal.

Not impressed, all the reviews made the food seem delicious. I got the spicy chicken sandwich. Nothing was spicy about it, there was more breading than chicken, and the chicken itself was salty. The jalapeno burger was also a disappointment, it was extremely greasy, no flavor from the meat, and overall just sad looking. The fries were overly salted, I wished some were crunchy since they were so thin but they weren't. The vanilla milkshake was probably the only item that I enjoyed, the strawberry milkshake did not seem well blended it had sugar granules which I couldn't enjoy.

Second and final time here. It's pretty unclean here. First visit I thought maybe it was busy. Tonight it wasn't, and it was still dirty. Went to get sweet tea, no lids on the pitchers. Got the order wrong. The burgers were just okay. Not worth the 47 minute drive. Husband asked for a shake, but got vanilla custard instead. Lots of better burger options out here. The food is delicious and so is the custard. However, the restaurant can stand a good wipe down (tables) the pop machine was disgusting (see photos). We arrived an hour after opening, and there is no reason why the pop machine should be so disgusting...perhaps they never clean it. I will not be heading back to that location anytime soon.

This restaurant was extremely dirty. This was my second visit, hoping for a better experience, but it seems like the place hasn’t been cleaned at all. I’m shocked the health department hasn’t intervened yet. I won’t be coming back.

Delicious! The staff was very friendly as well. I can't wait to return and try the chili cheese fries! I ordered a number one with cheese, and the fries were amazing—thin and crispy! Yum! And the fry sauce? Absolutely yes! So good!

The place was unclean, and the fan was falling apart. The barbecue tasted mediocre, but the staff was friendly, which was a positive aspect.

Like a higher quality steak n steak to put it simply... But it definitely holds up on its own. Worth it.
