Freddy's Frozen Custard Steakburgers

I've been here a few times for custard, but tonight I decided to give their burger and fries a try... I was not expecting it to be that good, from previous experiences with other steak burger style hamburger joints, i.e., Steak n Shake.Well this was a damn good burger (single patty even); The bun was perfectly toasted, the meat was well seasoned (if you like that sort of thing), and the cheese as well as the condiments were just right.The fries are thinly cut shoestring fries as expected, and they tasted better than all the fries I've had at Hopdoddy's. On the evening of Jan 28, my son and I were out driving around, and we noticed his blood sugar was low. He is type-1 diabetic, so I handed him my phone and told him to order something for pickup. He ordered a custard, and we soon pulled into the pickup parking spot.From here we waited.... and waited. We saw the people inside look directly at us several times, but they never came out. The onion rings look better than they taste. They provided no sauce which I was sad about.Pumpkin Pie Concrete was legit. Better than Andy's in that it doesn't make you feel like you're sick after eating it. Whipped cream, spice and crust bits were all delicious.Another day we tried a regular hamburger meal. Show string fries aren't for me and they carry Pepsi products so my substandard Diet Pepsi didn't make me fall in love. The burger was fantastic but you have to ask for mayonnaise because they only put mustard on it.I'd go again for ice cream and maybe just a burger.

I'm sorry to leave such a bad review. but I order a ol smokey (I think that's what it was called). Fucked! I had a mushroom on it and the mushroom looks like canned mushrooms. I also ordered a chili chees dog no wobble, and they put on it. the chicken nuggets of my child had two small nuggets on it, for $5 and something I could get at least one more nugget! fries was like peep eating! will never go back! We love Freddy's. It's always a fantastic spot for a quick bite. When the cod is in season, it is especially delicious. Personally, I am not a fan of the smashed burgers. The staff is not overly friendly, but acceptable. The biggest issue is that the tables are often dirty, which is why they are receiving a 4 out of 5 rating.

The restaurant was good and decently clean. Fast forward 2 years later, only the drive-through is open. The staff is pleasant and the sunshades are always a nice touch.

The food was delicious, but I wish they had allowed customers to serve themselves. I had to wait for a server to come to my table and take my order.
