Frendz Restaurant and Lounge

Went there last night, I'm going to give this a 4 star based on the food and the staff who actually helping us, (The waitress who was assigned are table deserves more of a three-star giving her service) There was A good amount of people but not full in any way and also seem to have a good amount of staff working in the place, were greeted and sat at a table probably which was very nice being a Friday night around 7pm. Stumbled upon this place while I was in Canada for a weekend visit. Was surprised that we couldn 't find this place listed on Yelp (yep, I 'm the one who added it as apparently it 's been around for awhile. We had a really nice time here. The food was very good, our server Gregory? was fantastic and really added to the overall enjoyment of our lunch. Before the Gowan concert at the Capitol Theatre we chose to go Frendz for drinks and dinner Huge mistake. The concert was unbelievably great. The experience at Frendz unbelievably poor. We had four in our party. Two ordered the blue burger, one was ordered without the bun. The others ordered the rib special and house steak. The blue burgers arrived one correctly the other not, so it was whisked back to the kitchen to remove the bun. After an awkward few minutes waiting on the other two meals those with the burgers were encouraged to go ahead and eat. This restaurant was so ill prepared for an influx of thousands of people walking past their door on Saturday for Retrofest. 1 waitress outside one in. We were a group of 8 but only about 12 other patrons were there. We waited 1/2 hr to have our order taken. An hour after that for the food to come out. A five year old got a plate of fries told the chicken fingers that were ordered for her, that only one was left. Had they bothered to cook it-oh no. We could wait longer for them to cook it if we wished! Are you insane!!! We had to go to the bar get our own pitchers of water. Experienced wonderful customer service, our waiter was super nice and cheery. The portion sizes were good and everyone I went here with left with fully and happy bellies. The food was delicious and the wait was very reasonable. Dinner for the three of us cost the same here as it does for just my girlfriend and I to go on a date night anywhere else, so for the same price we got to bring a friend and get him a meal as well. We took him out for his birthday and he loved it. The waiter was super friendly, thanked us for coming, and even escorted us out. Would definitely recommend eating here.

Great staff, food and ambience specially when the life band is there. It is a real restaurant with a variety of plates, this makes a difference from a traditional dinner place. The only place to serve oysters in Chatham-Kent, at least when they are available. Got served by Alesha she is a very professional waitress. If you're there to stay after the dinner, they have an amazing bartender ask for his special drinks and you wont be disappointed.

Came at 10pm, they gave us a menu, ordered drinks off of it. I ordered the merlot. The bill came and it was $3 more than the menu said the merlot was and our server told us the menu was actually incorrect and didn't haven't correct wine on it.

Stopped by here on a weekend afternoon. Lots of room to sit on the outdoor patio. Very relaxing. Later in the evening however, things get very busy. This is an upscale place where lots of the locals go to meet and mingle. Recommended.

A very friendly, pleasant establishment with a confident menu of beautiful twists on classics. Some of their poutine's are remarkably inventive. But mainly, I enjoy the fun relaxed staff.

This place was awesome!! Food, service and drinks!! If you enjoy tacos and beer - they have a special that you cannot beat!
