We arrived early for our booked, expected to have to wait, but we were seated straight away, no problems. Not the cheapest meals, but reasonably priced for what it was, we had steak for £20. Service was excellent, nice atmosphere.

A good lunch on Sunday with a selection of 3 meats. You can help yourself with vegetables. I am gluten intolerance and they do a good gluten free engraving, but we have booked before to make sure they had some.
We ate early (1800) so that the atmosphere was not present. I had cable chips that were all right without being exceptional in any way. My companion had a burger who thought "right".

Normally rate this a 5 but had the steak and it was really dry so quite disappointed this time
