For the cost, the food quality was amazing. I was hesitant to pay that much for a hotdog, but man was it tasty. The Montreal smoked meat poutine was also very very good, but if something says with pickles then I expect more than one bite worth. Kidsportion was quite large but regular portions were on the small side for the cost. Again, flavour was incredible.
Frite Alors offers a variety of vegetarian options on their menu. Street parking is available nearby; although it can be busy, there are usually plenty of spots to find. Families with children will appreciate the kid-friendly menu and seating arrangements. Additionally, the restaurant is wheelchair accessible, featuring a convenient ramp for easy entry.
What an amazing restaurant! The food was excellent, and the service was remarkable. A special thanks to our server who managed 15 tables effortlessly. The $85 tab for three felt very fair considering the generous portions. The décor and ambiance were lovely, and the location is ideal, surrounded by numerous shops and options. I’ll definitely be back!

Frite Alors serves the best fries ever. Their menu features authentic Belgian fries that are absolutely delicious. The only downside is that it’s a bit of a challenge to get there, even though it’s just a minute from where I live.
The gravy here falls short, and the curds don’t resemble traditional cheese curds. If you love poutine, I’d suggest skipping this spot—Belle Province offers a far superior version.
21.50$ for a large poutine and half way through all you got is soggy fries in bland tasting gravy. Barely any cheese curds. Way overpriced, low quality, avoid.
