I ordered three dishes: Salmon nigiri, takoyaki and chicken katsu curry. The food was good overall although I have a few complaints. They are unaccommodating to customers with dietary restrictions (I cannot have alcohol) and they only stock alcohol based soy sauce according to the staff. I had to have my sushi plain without the soy sauce unfortunately which is a shame. Secondly I don’t particular like the way they serve chicken katsu curry with rice in a small plastic bowl which keeps moving around the table every time I’m trying to scoop out the rice. The katsu chicken was delicious but the katsu curry could do with a bit more seasoning. I wish they have non alcohol based soy sauce alternat...
Visited for dinner with my partner, we're big sushi fans and had heard this was one of the best places in Bristol. The staff were lovely, super helpful and welcoming and happy to help. The food was fantastic, very fresh and tasty, and good value for money. There was plenty of variety, we only tried the sushi dishes but there was plenty of other options should we have wanted something else. The restaurant itself has a lovely atmosphere, we were seated downstairs which was well lit despite having no windows, so it didn't feel like we were in a basement or anything like that. Thank you so much, will definitely be coming again if we're in Bristol.
absolutely recommended because of the warmth of a young lady. as a hotelier, the first impression is very important to me. she was professional and did everything for us to have a perfect Valentine's Day dinner, even we had no booking. delicious hot traditional rams, we had the 26 cos sushi that were completely fresh and gyoza were also shiny and hot. we will visit again. thanks for the fantastic dinner. kudos to the young waitress
Not very busy for Saturday dinner. Parking in Clifton is difficult. Restaurant main dining is downstairs. Food was good. Try the set menu for sushi. Value with variety. The rolls were nicely wrapped and flavourful. The dons (rice bowls) is reasonable sized with good portion of meat. Teriyaki sauce is a tad sweet but still delicious. Ramen looks appetizing as well. Overall a good time experience.

Teriyaki sauce is a tad sweet but still delicious. ramen also looks appetizing. a good time experience.
the sushi was so fresh and tasty and had a great selection of different types of sushi. we were pleasantly surprised with the price-performance ratio, and the restaurant has a nice chilled atmosphere.
number 1 choice for sushi in bristol. I recommend the squid sashimi. the wakame seetangsalat is a must! the personal is always so beautiful and polite.
I had an incredible dining experience. I sampled several dishes and they were all delicious. I will definitely be returning.
