We arrived on a Friday evening around 6 PM, and the restaurant was already bustling with activity and a line to order. Full Moon BBQ has an interesting setup that feels like a blend of a fast food counter and a traditional restaurant dining area. It's a model I wish more places would adopt. While we were there, a local school was hosting a fundraiser, and students were delivering food and drinks to customers. I love Full Moon! I used to eat at their location near Lakeview area a long time ago. Now I usually go to Alabaster, Pelham, and hwy 280 locations. We've enjoyed everything we've gotten from every location, which means a lot, because some restaurants have small differences between locations, but I've never experienced that with FMBBQ. I know every time every thing from the tea, to the sandwiches/plates and desserts is going to be consistently good! Their chicken sandwich is my favorite! I stoped by the drive through for lunch here earlier in the week. Ordered a pork sandwich and fries. The fries were cold and were not eatable. I was back here today, same scenario but ordered onion rings instead of fries. I was given a plate with a sandwich on it with 3-4 cold fries and a separate sandwich, no onion rings. The pork itself was good but the service was horrible. I won't be back for a while!!!! Two chances this week to get my orders right but failed both times!!

Full Moon offers a wonderful experience, whether you choose to dine in or take out! There is ample seating and plenty of TVs to catch the games. The staff is friendly, and placing an order is easy. I ordered lemon pepper wings and fried green tomatoes. Unfortunately, the wings didn't taste or look like lemon pepper, and I only received three fried green tomatoes. I ate the food simply because it was late. I have a picture of the wings, but I didn't know how to upload it. This was at the Alabaster location.

Disgusting grill. The baby back ribs were overdue and practically crispy. The carrot cake has been ordered to dessert and it has more of a spiced frosting than the traditional cream cheese. And the pastry cook was a bit too enthusiastic with the cinnamon spice. Besides, it wasn't so wet.

Love this place! We have been to eat inside, but get delivery a lot (Door Dash). They always get our order correct and they have fast service. Also, the food is SO good! Inside was clean, as well. Staff was helpful!
