"The tempura at this restaurant is absolutely delicious and I will definitely return for more. It tasted very fresh. The sushi rolls were a bit too big to eat in one bite and one of them was extremely hot and burned our mouths. However, the flavors were still good. Overall, I would rate the food 4 out of 5."

I was in the area on Thursday and came across a small sushi restaurant as many shops were closing. The interior is simple with cozy decorations and furnishings, clearly a family-operated business. They offer a variety of rolls and combo options for bento boxes and rice bowls. We chose the bento 3 which included chicken teriyaki, sashimi, and tempura, along with California roll pieces, rice, salads, and miso soup. We also tried the furogu roll and honey roll, as well as some delicious steamed edamame. Though the honey roll was just okay due to the cucumber, the furogu roll was fantastic with decent cuts of fish. The bento was a great value with generous portions, meant for sharing. Despite no...

I entered this “restaurant” at 1:40 pm on Wednesday 05/10/2023. I was going to know if I my wife and I could celebrate our first wedding anniversary there. I wanted to check the menu and book the table on 28th of May. But first I needed to wash my hands because they were dirty after filling up the washer reservoir in my vehicle. When I asked a waiter (don’t know his name but he was an Asian) if I may use their bathroom, he told me: No, only for customers. I told him that I am going to become your customer, he interrupted me and said: you must order first. After that I told that I want to buy a can of soda and was going to pay by card. But he told me: only cash. I was feeling awfully about th...

Everything we have tried has been delicious, but some of our go-to orders include the lion king roll, gyoza, ramen, dragon roll, spicy tuna hand roll, and when available, oyster or uni. The portions are generous, and the sashimi is of good quality. Don't miss out on trying this place! You might find us there too! Kid-friendliness: We have been coming here since before our child enjoyed sushi, and he always loved the salmon teriyaki dinner plate. They have a variety of options that are kid-friendly, including mochi ice cream for dessert.

Excellent little Japanese restaurant close to the San Mateo mall that we visited. We had not researched the area prior to arrival, and this place was the first place that was op at the time. We wanted Japanese. Food was great, the kids enjoyed it and the staff were friendly and helpful. Would go back in future in in the area. Service was also fast, but they had just opened so no one else was in there yet.
