My most recent visit to this restaurant was on Saturday, July 29, 2023, for dinner with my husband and my best friend from my hometown. We absolutely loved everything about this place - the convenient location, the nice ambiance, the BYOB option, the extensive menu, the friendly and attentive server, and the delicious and plentiful food. We will definitely be returning!
The service was fast and the portions were generous. Every main dish is served with rice, and the complimentary salad with mango slices was delicious. The General Tso's Chicken was excellent, and the Seafood Bird's Nest was decent. However, we would not recommend the Chicken Satay as the chicken skewers were fried and the peanut sauce was too oily.
This restaurant is a hidden gem in downtown Metuchen. The lunch options are delicious and reasonably priced. They offer fresh and delicious bento box sushi and sashimi lunches. The waitresses are friendly and helpful, explaining what is included in each order. I would recommend this place for lunch or dinner if you are in the area with your family.
I ordered the Sushi Sashimi 2 ($55.00) and found the taste and freshness to be average. The seafood dish with lemongrass was slightly salty but still enjoyable. I ordered the Chicken Satay, Thai Style Vegetarian Spring Roll, and California Roll at this restaurant, and they were all absolutely delicious. I am never disappointed with the food here.
This restaurant is fantastic for Asian fusion cuisine. The sushi rolls were excellent. Metuchen is a wonderful town for walking, and parking meters are free on weekends.
The majority of the dishes were delicious, however, there were a few pieces of chicken that were not up to par. I left feeling slightly let down.
