Excellent. Maybe a little expensive compared to other fish and chip shops but excellent all the same. Love this is a restaurant as well which always seems very busy. I love that this is open until 8pm as most cafes close by about 2pm or at the latest 4pm I always wondered why other cafes closed so early and why they didn't stay open for teatime especially for mothers bringing their kids after school or anyone on the way home from work that doesn't want to cook or wash the dishes after a long day.
As soon as we mentioned that my daughter is celiac, the staff assured us, "We'll take care of you." They provided gluten-free vinegar and gluten-free tartar sauce. Many of the meals were modified to be gluten-free, and they even have a dedicated fryer. We will definitely be back.
We went at lunchtime Friday, had the small cod and chips for two people. Lovely fish, chips and peas, with onion ring, bread and butter and a pot of tea. £7 each, which, like the service and the staff was excellent. Going back next week.
Have been wanting to try the fylde fish bar for quite some time as I love battered fish. The fish was fantastic. The fish come in various sizes, so if your a hungry I would recommend going for the larger haddock..we will visit again...

Fantastic spot for fish and chips! They offer a variety of sides, including mushy peas, curry, gravy, onion rings, and gluten-free beer. This is my favorite fish and chip shop, and the staff is very knowledgeable.
Very friendly. Good Fish and Chips. I have not scored 5 as the chips could have been crisper and I don't like the small sachets of tartare sauce. The best F&C shops usually make their own.
Just had dinner there with my mum. She cleaned her plate which is rare! Lovely food and friendly service. Also the best knickerbocker glory I have had in years.
We went here tonight and enjoyed fab food at reasonable prices. It was really busy but well staffed by friendly people. We will be back.

The gluten-free fish, chips, sausages, shrimp, gravy, and curry sauce were absolutely fantastic!
Had the gluten free steak pie gravy and chips absolutely delicious, we will visit again!
