As a tea enthusiast who frequents tea rooms regularly, I was excited to visit the Ritz-Carlton Pentagon City for the first time. However, I was disappointed to find that the tea room was a windowless conference room with harsh lighting and a large screen TV playing a sports channel in the corner. This environment did not lend itself to a special or enjoyable tea experience. My girlfriends and I had a wonderful birthday dinner celebration at this restaurant. Every dish we ordered was delicious! I want to express my gratitude for the complimentary birthday dessert. The breakfast I had was also incredibly tasty, especially the fluffy pancakes. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning. The ambiance is beautiful, the staff are friendly and courteous, and the service is impeccable. They also offer complimentary valet parking and have wheelchair accessible entrance and restroom.
It is unfortunate that the hotel is being redone and the restaurant has moved into a small ballroom space rather than in the lovely restaurant space. Menu was excellent. Not sure if it’s going to matter once they move the new concept restaurant back into the restaurant space. Had an interesting take on an old fashion which was smoky. In the beginning the smoke almost choked me but when it mellowed the drink was nice but frankly I did not taste the smoke.

I went to my friend's birthday party and we were treated like royalty. Our waitress, who I believe was called Elizabeth (she was Ethiopian), was incredibly sweet. She took our photos and also made sure to accommodate my friend's and my special dietary needs. Her cousin also worked there and was just as kind. The entire staff was really friendly. The food was delicious and it was a fun overall experience. I highly recommend it!
Very professional service with great attention to details. Fantastic crab cakes. The prices are reasonable at dinner $35 but very expensive breakfast at $50. The chicken sausage is amazing too!

This place needs windows or otherwise renovations to make breakfast under its current dim lighting less depressing.
