As a Hispanic Italian who grew up in Little Italy in the Bronx, I had high hopes when I decided to try this place. I ordered two slices of cheese pizza and took them home. However, as I drove, my car was filled with the scent of rice and seasoned beans. When I opened my first slice at home, I was shocked to find myself asking, "Where's the sauce?" The crust had a nice texture, but there was barely any sauce and the cheese felt cheap. I won't be returning; they really need an Italian to show them how to make proper pizza sauce and use good mozzarella. Overall, I felt like I was ripped off.

I had a nice seated lunch where I enjoyed two plain cheese slices and a soda. The pizza crust was wonderfully crunchy, which I truly appreciated. They also have outdoor seating in the back, which would be fantastic on a sunny day.

Gabriella's Family Pizza offers classic, affordable New York-style pizza that’s consistently good quality and quick service. My roommate is a big fan of their meatball parm—it’s a solid choice, nothing extraordinary but always satisfying.
I called today to order a Grandma pie, but the person who answered was rude. They informed me they were out of mozzarella cheese and then abruptly hung up. I definitely won’t be ordering from Gabriella’s Family Pizza again.
