Absolutely fantastic! The cost is definitely justified, as I've paid more for steaks and cheese grinders that were far less impressive. I devoured my meal too quickly to take any pictures, but I'll be sure to snap some on my next visit! I ordered the provolone cheesesteak with extra cheese and mushrooms, and I’d rate it a 9.8 out of 10. The only thing that could have made it even better would be a bit more cheese with a nice crispy texture from being grilled, and having the mushrooms cooked with the meat and cheese instead of just placed on top.
We have been going to this location since it opened. Today I had the worst sandwich every from there. I think they forgot the cheese. Didn't see any onions. I asked for the peppers on the side instead of on the sandwich. The girl behind the counter looked at me like I was an alien. They charged ne for a side of peppers. None on the sandwich. Another cheesesteak place that did that is no longer in business. It will be a long time before I try it again.
The best cheese steak in the world, without driving all the way to friggin Ypsilanti. The roll is perfect. The cheese is perfect. The beef is juicy and perfect. Absolute perfection. They do have a lunch meat sub but I 've never tried it. The beef is all I need. Even the guy that sells tamales out of the trunk of his car eats here Highly recommend.
Walked in. Just ordered a hoagie to go. Steak and provolone. Clean steak and ready within 5 mins. Both employees were nice. 3rd time here. I grew up with having Gabriel's in Ypsilanti, when Westland opened I was hesitant. It was unfounded, the same great Hoagies and service as Ypsilanti and I have ate at both recently since I have family and friends in ypsi.
I previously had some complaints about this restaurant, but I must give them credit for their impressive improvements over the past six months. They truly offer the best cheesesteak sandwich now.
