The owner was incredibly rude when he refused to provide us with an itemized receipt. Instead, he slid a pad over and told me to write my own receipt! It was unacceptable not to provide the receipt, but his behavior was completely uncalled for. I warn anyone who needs an itemized receipt for business expenses to be cautious. As for the food, I wouldn't have even bothered to leave a review; I simply wouldn't go back, as the sandwiches were just mediocre.
What an incredible deli! The owner truly makes the experience special; he engages in conversation and asks questions while generously piling your sandwich high with an enormous amount of meats, cheese, and veggies! The prosciutto is the best I've ever had! The price for the sandwich is more than fair—it's actually quite affordable for what you receive! Be sure to try the Michael Angelo; you won't be disappointed!
The food is delicious, but the ordering and waiting process can be a bit chaotic at times due to the restaurant's small size and busy atmosphere. There is plenty of parking available behind the restaurant. The staff is very friendly, and the catering service offers tasty options as well.
I had to dive into my sub before I could snap a photo—it's that good! The staff were incredibly welcoming and entertaining, and they got me in and out quickly. Since parking in the front is limited, I recommend using the back lot! Reserva una mesa ahora

Hands down best deli in CT. Great food, great owners, amazing atmosphere. Place is a blessing, always leave the deli with a smile! I cannot emphasize enough how amazing Gaetano’s Deli is.
