Gaistalalm - Reservar una mesa

The combination of incredible amounts of snow, heavy sledges, slow children and grandparents, made for a rather exhausting ascent of the Gaistalm. But by God we were rewarded; with sunshine on the terrace outside, overlooking the mountains around us, fast and friendly service and with good soups that filled our bells. But it was the Kaiserschmarrn (ordered twice!!! with applemus and develish sleds ride back in Leutasch, which the cake (or the Schmarrn in this case).

We had a had not read any reviews prior to lunching here and were really pleasantly surprised by the warmth of our welcome and the standard of the admittedly simple fare that we wanted after our walk down the valley. The restaurant was full perhaps also because it was a beautiful day ! It's a great walk and a definite must do when staying in Leutasch.

We enjoyed a very tasty best Wiener Schnizel and a cheese and sausage plate during lunchtime. The food was very tasty and the location nice, but also accessible with a baby bush. May we have arrived shortly before the midday summit, but at the end of our short stay the service was slowly beaten. Therefore service all in all only get on ok rating.

Like all pastures, it offers a limited menu of food and drinks, but in a fantastic environment in Gaistal. The homemade cakes were very delicious. The staff was pleasant and helpful. A great stop for hikers and cyclists alike.

Very friendly, friendly staff, I shared a cheese cold meatboard very well, others had strudel, sausage etc. all were very satisfied. Beautiful views while we eat outside. Good place to break your walk or bike tour.
