We randomly found this place after walking around in Inwood Park, and it was such a great find. They have indoor and outdoor seating, and there is a full bar area. Everyone that we interacted with was extremely gracious and accommodating.The menu has a variety of classic tapas and seafood options that are great to share. I loved the complimentary bread that was served ahead of our meal. We ordered several dishes, including the pulpo a la Gallega, which was cooked perfectly and had a soft buttery texture. Came in with my good friend; he wanted to try La Casa del Mofongo and I encouraged him to try tapas (which he had not done so). This was ny first encounter with Galicia Tapas but I live tapas and I haven't dined in a tapas restaurant that wasn't excellent.Galicia's did not disappoint! Everything our wonderful waiter Manolo placed on our table was delicious! The bread? It's aappetizer in itself! The beer, the food, the coffee! The service was outstanding, thank you Manolo! Nothing more to say just tosay it's a phenomenal place, a true gastronomic experience. I will return!
The host is very friendly and environment clean. But the food lacks confidence. The special of the day was awful...I had what was suppose to be pork tenderloin. It was masked with a sauce but you can tell it was bad ???? the vegetables was wilted maskedagain by two pieces of broccoli ???? that was fresh and the white rice tasted like plastic. The tapas were very small andlacked desire in taste and look. Dessert was not a big deal. I.e. almond cake should be called a flat almond cake as it wasthinner than the plate served in. Taste not impressive. Flan the same.
Too expensive for tapas (you get a huge serving of pulpo in Galicia for 10-11 euros, here it’s $21 and very, very small), tortilla shouldn’t cost more than $6-7 (again, it’s traditionally free in Spain if you order a drink). You can have gourmet tapas for this price range but this is just average below average.Inwood unfortunately doesn’t have good food. Sadly, I will not repeat this one and will not recommend it unless you wanna try and see for yourself.

It is not always easy to find classy places in certain neighborhoods but I have been blessed to find this one of a kind restuarant. The scallops, margeritas, and octupus are top shelf and so is the attitude. Going out is about how you are treated every time, as well as the food, people, and atmosphere.
The atmosphere was amazing and unforgettable thanks to the live music that was being played, the very courteous staff, the amazing people, and just the great good. It's definitely a place to take a date to, or have a special dinner for a great evening

Wonderful spot uptown. I had a bunch of their Tapas today (June 17, 2023). I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.
