Gallery Café - Reserva de mesa

Gorgeous little cafe with the friendliest of staff. As I'm not from Derbyshire I asked the waitress what a oatcake was, she very kindly explained it was like a savoury pancake. I ordered the roast vegetable, mozzarella and pesto oatcake and it was delicious. It was served with crisps, coleslaw (which was so tasty) and salad (also delicious). The portions are plentiful and food very tasty. Coffee was also very good. If you visit Bakewell be sure to visit Gallery Cafe. Thank you to the staff for a lovely lunch.

After a stroll round Bakewell decided on The Gallery for lunch. Was busy afternoon but seated pretty quickly. Staff were pleasant, food was nice , Large Cafetiere was small only 2 small cups of coffee , we use large cafetières they hold 8 cups so not sure how they class theirs as large. Called The Gallery , was expecting a nice array of well positioned artwork on the walls , there we're some pictures dotted around. All in all was pleasant enough .. Thank you ..

I had a pleasant first visit while I was passing through. The service was great, and the staff were very friendly. They offered a good selection of well-presented dishes and excellent coffee options, including guest roasts that I hope to try on my next visit. My only minor concern was the heat and cooking fumes from the kitchen, which is close to the seating area. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place based on my first impressions.

Lovely cafe. Dropped in for a coffee and some cake. Seated quickly, prompt and pleasant service. Flat white was good as was the generous tea portion. Bakewell tart was lovely (as should be expected! And the cream scone was delicious. Would return. Reserva una mesa ahora

I had a very enjoyable lunch. There were gluten-free options available, but unfortunately, the gluten-free Bakewell tart was sold out today. I highly recommend trying the Derbyshire oatcakes!

Fantastic place, really friendly staff and great, wholesome food and coffee! Would really recommend their 'mushrooms, goats cheese and roasted tomatoes on sourdough '.

Saw other recommendations and went to try their delights. Very pleased. Raspberry ripple latte, oatcake bacon and brie. Staff are lovely too. Would I recommended, YES
