This Restaurant is located in St Jakob which is located about a 10 min bus ride (free ski buses until about 7pm then a night bus take you between St Jakob and St Anton). There are lots of guesthouses and apartments in St Jakob but...not a great deal of choice in terms of restaurants so booking is definitely advised as it gets quite busy. We travelled with family who have been to this area for years and recommended this restaurant. It was a great recommendation and we ate there 5 nights out of 7!! ende januar, when I finished a ski tour, my hotel owner proposed the gander and the authentic Austrian restaurant with authentic food. for the first time we met the owner jehle otmar. a friendly reception in the...door to a small but intimate restaurant. beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. eating was the best I had in st. anton. the personal was friendly and accentuated. after dinner we received a free snappes made by jehle himself. I would highly recommend this restaurant and a wonderful opportunity to finish our trip.

during a ski week in sankt anton am arlberg, this is one of the almost authentic Austrian restaurants we found. local food in a cozy holzinterieur served by friendly people. it is located in a village not far from 'stanton', sankt jacob so that she 'd...need a car or taxi to get there. when they go with the car, make sure that the roads are ice-free. from the main road it is a short but steeper approach to the restaurant. taste the homemade brandy. in any case worth a try when they are looking, away from the après ski fuzin.
a cozy place to eat on Christmas day, so every day as if they enter a living room. Despite the limit, everything was nicely served and tasteful. the menu card is available in German and English. the staff was friendly and helpful. if they are here and want to eat or drink, I can recommend them to cooker.
11 of us went on the recommendation of a local and had a wonderful evening in this small cosy place Excellent service and great Austrian dishes: pork belly and sauerkraut, lamb shank and an excellent Kaiserschmarren Three courses, wine and coffees for €45 a head....Definitely recommended
Very nice restaurant. Typical Austrian food. The lamb and the beef is great. Also pork meals are delicious. Very friendly owner and staff. Must go for sure.
