My wife and I were staying at the nearby campsite. We 'd had a hectic day in Paris and got off the train just before 10pn, we were delighted to see the restaurant still open. We were greeted warmly by the owner. The decor is really nice and authentic very much in the style of English curry houses. Our service was excellent and it was a pleasant surprise to be able to drink Kingfisher beer in France. I had Chicken Vindaloo whilst my wife had Lamb and Mushrooms. Both were very nice and the mear was very tender. The service it is very poor we wait for more than 1 h to get our food and the restaurant was nearly empty just 3 tables . When the food came , all the dishes taste the same !!! Tikka masala , Chicken Korma ...everything same color and taste ! What a robbery ! I live next door of this restaurant and now just change owner ... I understand why they went bankruptcy ! To be honest I havent tasted since new owner.
Opening hours state until 11pm and the door still open yet a rather unfriendly man told us kitchen was closed even for takeaway at 22:10. Think the opening hours should be clearer. Interestingly door remained open for at least the next 30 mins when we walked back past…. Smelt great but won’t be repeating that experience
i had chicken tikka masala my husband had chicken balti of which tasted exactly the same both sauces had been puréed no onion or texture to the balti and just tomato base. our onion bhajis came in ring form with no onion please don't waste your money going here we threw it away.

This Indian restaurant looked the part and after a few weeks on the road we really fancied a change. The waiter lacked any hospitality skills whatsoever. The menu looked good and whilst the food was OK, it was nothing special. Save your money. I’d give this one a miss.
Food was really good and prices are fair. Only service and a bit bored. Nothing exceptional but good decent Indian restaurant.
