This was my first visit to Gạo, recommended by a friend. I tried the pho and highly recommend it. I ordered the small pho and really enjoyed the flavorful broth, noodles, beef balls, and well-done beef. They have self-serve water and refreshing custard apple smoothies. We will definitely be coming back. I urge you to visit Gạo restaurant. I was too hungry to take a photo of the pho, but I did get a picture of the combination rice dish. The food at Gạo was excellent, but the restaurant could definitely use a thorough cleaning. The glass entrance door was smudged with handprints, which is especially concerning these days. The floor needed sweeping and mopping, and the skirting boards looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. Despite the good food and decent service, the poor cleanliness means we wouldn’t return. Service: 4 Food: 4 Atmosphere: 2 Price per person: $20–40 Meal type: Lunch
