This restaurant has gone through many changes over the years. I even remember when it briefly tried to attract more customers by having a tittie bar stage on Friday nights, but those days are long gone. Despite being an older pub, the interior photos showcase the evolving landscape of Adelaide. I found myself particularly captivated by a map of Adelaide from the early 1900s displayed on the wall. It's a decent pub, good for a quick drink after work, but maybe not the best place to linger for an extended period. They also have outdoor seating for smokers to enjoy their drinks.
Was a bit worried about the reviews of the food here but they're unwarranted. We had some entrees, mains and a cheese platter. All great stuff. Especially the steak, perfectly cooked good quality cut. Schnitty was huge. Had a couple of things on the menu...for the more health conscious too (some salads, some lighter dishes). Only thing I would say is it doesn't cater to the hipster trendy types: if you're veggo or any other type of dietary requirement then your options are pretty limited. Drinks are well priced and the service was fantastic
I had dinner at this restaurant and found that they serve delicious pub food at affordable prices. The chef is willing to make unique dishes like lambs fry and crumbed brains, and their $10 sirloin steak special on Thursdays is a fantastic deal. While it may not be fancy, it offers great value. The pub, which used to have a dodgy reputation, is now family-owned and operated and provides a refreshing change from the more upscale establishments in the inner Adelaide area.
this pub is revolting. if I could give him 0 stars, I would. the bar is unhygienic. I saw that the staff was constantly dealing with naked and unwashed hands, the people on the table next to me found a dug and dirt in the salat. the owner who were gathered from the outside. even worse were the owners, who are clearly insulting drunken and treated their males and co-workers with decain after they applied for salat without insect and dirt.

after reading mixed reviews about this place, I belonged, I was initially a little skeptical. but to my surprise was eating ambiente and hospitable good. we ordered beerbatter fried fish and chips. it came with 2 pieces and salate and tartaric acid sauce....The taste was good. few people and a child have played live singing. we enjoyed the ambiente and the experience. it had this old world charming music was not too loud.

I love this charming pub. It's a hidden gem that has maintained its cozy atmosphere and unique character. The outdoor seating area is set in the driveway, which may not be the most attractive location. Overall, it's a laid-back local pub that I really enjoy.
I love this pub, it's one of my favourite pubs in Adelaide. The beeris cold, the staff are friendly efficient. Have not eaten there, but from what i've seen, it's basic food looks good. The atmosphere is warm, cosy fantastic.

Real family run community pub. Nice vibe. some cool circus memorabilia my first beer in Adelaide in the '80 's.... while across the road with Sole Bros circus.
Nice little pub clean nice place for drink and chill out .
