Garbanzo Mediterranean Fresh

I had previously written positive reviews about this restaurant, as the servers were always willing to make fresh falafel upon request. Tonight, however, the server flat out refused to make fresh falafel, stating that the falafel in the bowl was made 10-15 minutes prior. Despite my request for fresh falafel, he insisted that we could only have what was already prepared. As a result, we decided to leave and went to the Mexican restaurant next door. This was a missed opportunity for the restaurant, as we were prepared to spend $50 on three meals, drinks, and sides. The lack of flexibility in the service was disappointing, and it seems that there is a need for significant training in this area....

A long time ago, around may 2021 I came here for an interview for a management position via an add on indeed. The position was clearly described as a management position. When I arrived, I discovered it was under false pretenses. The manager explained that you start behind the counter and can work your way up to a management position. I 'm sorry, what? Absolutely, positively not. I got walked around the food and it just all sits in warming trays all day. It looked like something I 'd see on an episode of bar rescue, the food serving area part of it. So I guess this place likes lying to their employees and following the very least of fda requirements. Would have loved to try to food. Maybe fix your hours? Hours online say they are open until 9pm and I placed the order at 6:45pm. Ordered and paid for food on Door Dash. The door dasher gave us a call saying that they were would not make any more rice, gyro, or fries. The door dasher was very kind (5 stars to him). He mentioned that the staff were real jerks and that they were closing in 10 minutes. This was at 7:30. So they had the order in for 45 minutes, nearly an hour before closing at 7:40? I recommend fixing your hours across all platforms, stock food and maybe have some decent customer service. Meal type: Dinner Service: 1

At first, I thought the restaurant was closed because it was empty and there were no staff in sight. Despite this, I decided to try the door which was unlocked. To my surprise, a server appeared from the back once I entered. I ordered a delicious lamb gyro with a side of falafel. The food tasted fresh, although the falafel crust was a bit hard. I requested extra tzatziki sauce, as it was freshly made and delicious. The pickled onions, which I initially mistook for something else, turned out to be my new favorite condiment. I have ordered from this restaurant before, but this time I was extremely disappointed. The bowl I received was only half full and I was given half a piece of pita, whereas previously I had received a whole piece. I am now reconsidering whether I will return to this restaurant. It is not worth the cost if they are going to reduce the portion size but charge the same amount.

So I decide to try it out my first time. I get in line and start to order and the only employee so rude just because I wasn’t fast enough for her. If you having bad day don’t bring it to work. I ordered the gyro rice bowl and was disappointed by the small portion size for $15. There was very little gyro meat and the majority of the bowl was filled with rice. I was left feeling unsatisfied with my meal.

Been here a few times. Really good food, lots of options and customizations. All ingredients are always fresh. Falafel stuffed pita is the best. Food: 5 Service: 5
