3 young children fell asleep in the car, we took advantage and ploughed on with our journey to the Dordogne. The subsequent late lunch stop of course meant most eateries in Brive were closed (around 4.30). Found this place, looked a little TGI Fridays-like but we were pleasantly surprised by the food. Kids menu basic but fresh (3 calamari frites) I had delicious smoked salmon salad served in a crispy crepe. My husband had a burger, but a really good one. With drinks, kids ice creams and coffees 64€. Waitress was nice and made real effort to help with our poor french and her limited English. Would recommend. Cocktails looked great, shame we still had so much driving to do!
original decor, large screens with unpleasant musical accompaniment because not too strong, efficient and friendly service, quality and presentation of the very correct dishes ... it's really a good brewery where we went two nights in a row. small flat on the chairs in the part of the background where we sink and so not very pleasant.
The Garden Ice Café might not be the finest nor the trendiest nor the fanciest restaurant in town, but still it is an awesome place to dine out or enjoy a couple of drinks with friends. The venue has of a superb outdoor terrace, where it is so enjoyable to sit and sip a glass of wine or two when the weather is mild/warm.
Clean and nicely presented restaurant. Good menu but double the price of the advertised 'plate du jour ' on the black board outside which had sold out by 1pm. The food was ok but nothing to write home about. Staff friendly.

Toujours de qualité, jamais déçue. Très bonne Cuisine et accueil professionnel. Les prix sont un peu plus cher que d'autres brasseries mais je ne trouve aucun défaut et vous pouvez arriver tard , vous serez servi.
Dommage qu'un pavé de viande à 29.50 euros ne soit pas tendre et que l'attente pour avoir le plat à partager pour l'apéritif soit servi bien trop longtemps après que ledit apéritif soit bu !

Wait staff not attentive, but decent meals at averAge prices. So it was all a bit average.!! So it's all okay but there's lots of competition in Brive.

Good food, nice outdoor seating and reasonable price. Nice atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Would recommend
