What a nice find! I was looking for a Resto to celebrate a birthday without going crazy expensive. What’s amazing here is that you can wine for $10 more then SAQ. We ordered the Tartar specials…one was Beef with duck and the other was salmon with smoked salmon…both were delicious! It came with fries and a generous glace of wine. So despite the reasonable prices for a bottle, we just ordered one more glass and we were good to go. Also, since it was my birthday they offered me a dessert and the waiter and waitresses came a serenaded me singing happy birthday! I had a very enjoyable night!
We had the platter for 2 last night and a beautiful breakfast this morning compliments of best western. The food was beyond anything i was expecting. Everything my lips touched was full of flavour and cooked to perfection. Great and attentive bilingual staff to take ur order. Thank you Gare422 for raising the bar on quality and thank you Christina for excellent breakfast service. This place is a bar and restaurant so you can have the best of both worlds.Second update: added 2 other photos for some amazing suggestions. Chicken covered in bacon and Duck poutine.
Food was very good I had the pasta special one day and a creamy mushroom pasta the other. Service was very slow, over an hour from arriving to getting the food, we were a larger group (7) so maybe that was the cause, though we did book a month in advance. For me it was also too loud. We came from the hotel and so we expected a free breakfast but it wasn't. You just get a discount. For the skillet you only have all meat or all vegetables option, can we have something between these two in the menu? The grilled cheese plate came with a very few amount of fruits.. and a pathetic amount of beans. The French toast was fine. The food was delicious overall and the staff was good.
