We were participating in a guided tour to Wismar, while our cruise ship was docked in the port of Rostock After a walking tour of the town, our tour continued when our guide led us to the Wismar Brewery for some beer tasting accompanied by...pretzels. In the brewery, we were taken upstairs to a large dining room where we were seated at tables with seating for six people. This room and the other parts of the brew house which we saw had a nice ambience being decorated in traditional German style. after a long time we came back to the brewhouse with well-known people to visit. we were looking forward to eating delicious and beer. after 10 minutes we got our commanded or better said tasteless, sweet thrown on the teller finished question. as in a kantine, simply disgusting if they compare it with the great freshly prepared dresses of the last few years. you don't even have to make the disgusting thing beautiful, you give yourself. the total disappointment and that at the trips. how fast can a restaurant lose level, really be sad. absolutely no longer recommend...schade
We stopped at Brauhaus am Lohberg for lunch with our Friends of Dave tour. It’s a brewpub, but we’re not beer drinkers, so cannot comment on the beers. The food was very good and the portions were huge. The pork schnitzel with mushroom sauce was...top notch and my husband said the goulash was very good. The food came out quickly. We ate outdoors which was nice for people-watching, but the uneven cobblestones made the seating a little precarious.
We toured Wismar one evening a beautiful town! We walked to this establishment and sat outside everyone was sitting outside, thought the inside was very special and must be amazing in the winter. Anyways, back to the food. I had pork shank. It...was delicious. The serve German traditional fare and the also brew beer and distill whiskey. Would absolutely return here.

were there with the children. the waiters are friendly but understand their job not quite in pointo service. that food came fast, for my opinion too fast and that was also seen. almost all deep-frozen the chicken, the draughts, the croquettes, the milky of the children. all tk and taste no highlight. so next time unfortunately no longer the brewhouse
we were in the brewhouse today with 9 people. it was known for its good kitchen. You can't say that anymore. the half of the food was only warm the steaks from the convectomat and not edible, the gulasch only flesh fibers.The carrots buffer cold. really underground.
no dishwasher for the large beer glasses. with such a large load, the glasses should be washed hot and germ-free. the service forces dive the glasses two times short to rinse in the holders. there are herpes pre-programmed!
we sat outside and it was quite full, yet we were served quickly and courteously. the food was rich, tasty and appropriate in the price, as well as the self-breaded beer. we were very happy and happy to come back.

the food was under par and pricy. it would not be going back there again. service was ok and so was the beer, but unlike that is a pass.
a lively place with bar and restaurant. eating was traditionally German and well prepared. Live music later in the evening
