Seit kurzem hat der Guglhupf wieder einen neuen Pächter. Das Personal ist wirklich herausragend freundlich und ambitioniert. Das Ambiente wie gehabt gemütlich und schön. Die Auswahl auf der Speisekarte ist nicht allzu groß was aber grundsätzlich ja nicht schlecht ist. Aber das Essen an sich ist - wenn überhaupt - Durchschnitt. Der Beilagensalat bestand aus Blattsalat und einem Haufen Paprika in den sich eine Tomatenscheibe verirrt hat, angemacht mit einer nichtssagenden Salatsoße. Die Panade um das Schnitzel war matschig und hing zum Teil schon weg, die Pommes waren weich. Geschmacklich war es okay aber nichts Herausragendes. Kann man hingehen wenn man Hunger hat und keine Alternative.
We came to Offenburg after Easter and almost everything was closed except here. We were looking and looking and then a nice couple came along and recommended this place. It's easy to find just a few steps from the town hall. Inside is very cozy and...known, very neat and neat, very nicely decorated. The hostess was very patient and helpful and the cook is really impressive. They also take care of their beer lines because the beer was some of the freshest I tasted in Offenburg. For Easter the asparagus was in the season and they had a whole menu of daily specialties including asparagus. Also the menu is full of local specialties and it sounds very welcoming.
Stumbled across this restaurant whilst out shopping. Offenburg is fine for retail therapy but mid town is very limited for good food of an evening. The restaurant has a friendly interior with charming staff, the menu was slightly different from the norm of burger and...chips,albeit I think to describe humus and tzaziki as tapas is a bit flexible. I had an Argentinian steak as a main,,my wife a chicken and coriander salad latter seemed to be missing). Friday night,we hadn't booked but the restaurant was soon full. The menu was interesting enough to deserve a return.
Incredibly friendly staff and a very nice ambience in the middle of the Offenburg city centre. Also the food is excellent and for pizza lovers a real recommendation! #Pizzapunk Even the drinks are very nicely dressed, a real eye-catcher for all those who like to go for food. I'll definitely come back and grab myself through the map and spend some nice evening there.

We were in Offenburg at the end of October. When we walk around town, the sign that the needy can get a food here for free. For us it was clear that we want to support this. We didn't make a mistake. We have eaten delicious, have been served super friendly and we can really recommend the Guglhupf. Promise: We're coming back! Thank you.
Personnel très accueillant et très pro, j'ai mangé des délicieux frikadelle avec salade.et un dessert que je ne connaissais pas: des tranches de pomme en beignet avec glace. Le vin rouge légèrement sucré était un délice. Le service était parfait.J'y retournerai.
Das Restaurant liegt in der Nähe der Fußgängerzone und ist gut zu erreichen. Der Service war sehr gut und auch das Essen war absolut fantastisch, sowohl optisch als auch geschmacklich.
I love many things about this restaurant! The first of all it's funny name) it's nice to have a tapas place in town, and the ambience is really nice and cozy!!

My daughter and I stopped here for dinner. We had Pina and it was delicious. For the desert we had Tiramisu with Nutella.
