right behind the German border, this restaurant has attracted the basler company for many years. the younger generation has recently taken over and modernized the hotel and restaurant, but roland hechler and his wife are still present and have a very important part in the success

the food was delicious, the wine was good. I had a cold appetizer with salmon. as a main dish I had a derecote with pommes frites. a little bit sorbet. all three very tasty. the price for my dinner cost more than the room I had for the night. the service was excellent

I just love to visit this restaurant near the Rhine. eating is fantastic and the service excellent. always constant and the environment is very pleasant. the love for detail is great

on the way to italia we made an overnight stay and tried the restaurant of the hotel. the owner led us through an interesting menu selection with elaborate tellers. a visit worth
