I take medication that makes me very sick. Around Karlsruhe pain became unbearable. My husband stopped in the suburbs close to tram tracks. My younger daughter is veryobservant and noticed the restaurant. It is barely 10 o'clock. No chance to find it open. Nausea become violent. A lady in the gasthaus saw us. I explained the problem a little in English a little in German. She ran before us to show us the toilets. After making sure everything is better, she refused the compensation we wanted to offer her in exchange for such kindness. In this world kind and understanding people still exist. I thank you Madam. I don't forget. Certainly we have not eaten but we really intend to come back to you...

With OK reviews, we thought we would stop for lunch. Comfortable parking and a rather pleasant ordinary dining room. We ordered the wooden porcelain steak and bratwaerste. Steak was very common, but the Bratwursts were the worst I've ever seen. Soft and sponge and tasteless.... When I mentioned that they were not what I expected from the waitress that I had no German sausage before when I had actually eaten them for years. I can say the worst food we had in Germany on this 11-day trip.

Eating is really okay. You can't say bad things. The waiter is one of the best I've ever seen in a gastro plant. Whether empty or full. He is always present and inquires about the guests. You just ate. The food was ne 1 . Was everything super delicious from appetizer to the main course to dessert. Service very nice and attentive. Price performance top. Anyone looking for good German food is in the right place.

Gasthaus Zur Rose is a nice restaurant with tasteful food, most from the region. The selection you can make is not very big, but there is enough choice for everybody. Nice beer, with of without alcohol is served.
