We were recommended this wonderful little restaurant by our accommodation in Fussen (we stayed at Seespitz Hotel. - please refer my review of that excellent place). It was snowing heavily and we wouldn't have gone without the recommendation and a GPS tracker!It was so well worth it. Lovely views of the valley and mountains in a cosy dining room in the 1780's built guest house. The food was good. I enjoyed smoked trout. My wife loved her pork medallions. My kids were happy with their rump steak and 'small' schnitzel. Decent wine and beer selection. I had a very nice Creme Brûlée as well as a good coffee to finish.The hosts are friendly. If you're in the vicinity give this place a try!
I reserve at booking.com in time for this structure for two nights x 3 people. we arrive at 17.30 a.m. on the afternoon, but the structure is closed and to welcome us, there is a sign indicating that the check-in takes place from 18 a.m. we find ourselves tired of returning to a drink in the village, and return to the structure around 18.15 (which is just outside the center). we wait in vain until 1845. we contact the booking that kindly cancels the reservation, and fortunately find accommodation in a nearby building (and by the way much more beautiful, although obviously even more expensive). scandalous! the owners have not even done their effort to call me back and apologize.
we were here for three days, the room for 4 people is large and immaculate. in the environment there are much green and many ways to wander in nature. it is a very convenient location to reach places like feet or the famous castle neuschwanstein quickly. excellent kitchen to reasonable trips. free wifi. we were on the move with a big dog that was recorded without problems. the family that leads it is also nice and attentive to the detail. I can only recommend it warmth!
we had come to lunch and were absolutely surprised by the super dinner. ochsenbäckchen mit kartoffelbrei und salat. incredibly delicate the meat and a very tasty sauce with wonderful self-made potato bread and very fresh, versatile salad. who would have suspected this?...Ambiente: beautifully rustic, as it should be in the allgäu.

the fall mill is a classic! here is simply cooked well. starting from the bead grass risotto to the carvings to the imperial marr, you cannot bring enough hunger! In the summer you sit with a wonderful view of the wide mountain, in the cooler season you like to taste in the cozy stubborn. it fits everything here!
we tested the fall mill as a quarter for hiking and snowshoeing and were very pleasantly surprised.The kitchen is class.Our multi-bed room was nicely spacious and the sanitary facilities were clean and beautiful.For hiking enthusiasts also with larger groups recommended.I definitely come back.
very cozy ambiente and friendly team! super food and drink, there is something for everyone. ps: who is just asking for his animals, then you can see with certainty the donkey, goats and much fun!
we returned with friends after skiing in the fallmill and had our little son with it. the food was very good and we would also receive with the little very friendly and felt very comfortable.
