Gasthof Goldene Henne

Yesterday we were in Arnstadt in the Golden Hen. Since we had often visited a Crimean dinner, we were happy for the evening and the food. Unfortunately, we are absolutely disappointed yesterday. On the way we have to say that the actors have delivered a very good show that we liked very well. The food was, unfortunately, grotchen. No mention can be made from an exclusive, tasty and exquisite menu, as stated on the website. There was a gray, pampered soup as an appetizer. To the main course, two fixed lumps, TK vegetables and a piece of cheap pork roasts were banished on the plate, a delicate finished sauce above. That would have happened in every Mensa kitchen. Looking for a restaurant we were stumbled over the Golden Henne. The reception was not so great, we were standing around a while before we were accepted. But it was quite full. The food on it was compensated for waiting. We had Thüringer Klöße with rinderroulade. The food was excellent. The clubs were big and juicy, just delicious, I never ate such good clubs. The beef and the delicious thick sauce were very, very good. If we're in Arnstadt, we'll be happy to come back here.

Very exciting city center, frivolous old shops, such as model railway shop, car accessories to even Trabant and Wartburg. Not far from Eisenach, where Martin Luther translated the Bible at Wartburg Castle

Have met us very well here with friends from Arnstadt and were served very well in the evening as well as for breakfast when Arnstadt is back here

Closing like with mothers, eating tasty and good. It is ideal for family celebrations. Recommended for lunch only
