Gasthof Lamm - Reservar una mesa

We stayed at the Pension Steiner in Matrei a Bremmer after passing into Austria from Italy. We asked for a recommendation and they suggested Gasthof Lamm which is just down the main street. The restaurant is very nice and very traditional Austrian. It was my wife's birthday I wanted a nice dinner and we three enjoyed the meal very much. The prices were very good and the portions large. I had the weinnerschnitzel and asked if they could make a mushroom cream sauce for it. They did and it was great. Well worth a visit.

If you are in the area and looking forward to a great dinner then I can recommend this restaurant. It offers traditional local cuisine as well as general Austrian dishes. Please make sure to double-check in advance whether free seats are available. Especially around weekend times the Restaurant may be fully booked. Service and quality are excellent, prices are a bit above-average but you will not regret it!

This place is great for dinner with friends and Ive even attended a wedding here a few years back ! Great service and great food ! They recently did renovations on their little wine cellar and its beautiful down there ! Oh if you like big dogs, the house mascot is a big softie who is always about ! I think he's as famous as the food !

A perfect dinner while outside it was snowing! Kind staff, good food, with a very wide choice from the menu. Wine list very equipped.

Great authentic Austrian cuisine. Staff was friendly, well dressed and food was good. Interior also looked good, nice architecture.
