The way to the the Gasthof is beautiful and offers the opportunity to discover a more cozy and private side of Kitzbuhel. Upon arrival you are stunned by the amazing view of the mountains The location is a typical Tyrolean Chalet. Its cozy, wooden interiors invite for a warm winter lunch. Service is good and friendly. We had beef carpaccio with green pepper corns, Wiener schnitzel and cordon blue. Food is very good. Nice crispy house Riesling to accompany our meal. I recommend it and will return. By the way they have also 4 guest apartments for rent. Really nice. CIAO
during our kitz holiday also came to the oberaigen because of the good reviews. really beautiful view from the terrace, but the rest was no more than mediocre. the usual classics on the map, tastefully the worst we have experienced at our five others. small selection of open weepings with a total of normal trips. but, the absolute no-go was the unfriendly waiter who has spread a complete hectic and wanted to persuade us constantly. definitiw no recommendation from us!
We have been here several times for parties and for lunch. Both inside and outside are lovely. Inside, it is warm and inviting in a charmingly delightful way. Outside on the terrace, the views are magnificent! The food is typical Austrian but prepared perfectly. They have a very nice wine selection of both Austrian wines and wines from elsewhere. The food, views and service make this a most enjoyable place to go with a lot of friends or family or simply a couple.
we decided on a relatiw cool evening for the terrace as there is a beautiful view of the sunset behind the mountains. we were pampered with very cuddly blankets, so that it was not a problem. I have eaten a trout that I can recommend at the very best. kellner was especially nice and attentive. come back safely!

An authentically restaurant, not too touristic. A wonderful terrace with an outstanding view on the magnificent mountains. Inside a lovely decorated Stuben. Great food and friendly waiters. Don't miss it!
