We came to the place by accident. We were looking for a supermarket, and because it was late and we were with 3 kids, we didn't want to miss diner. Searching for the closest a restaurant on the TripAdvisor brought up the place with only 4 reviews. I was very suspecious (as always). It looked like it is in the middle of nowhere. When entering the place, a German old lady approach to me, speaking only German. I told my wife, just order something to drink and let's move on. Well, I was wrong. Very wrong! The old lady was adorable and took care of us and the kids like we were her own. An awesome lady. The food was super tasty and fresh. It is like a hunter place in the mid west. Many kinds of me...

Stopped in on the way to Titisee for a bite to eat and was not disappointed. The building is classic Black Forest from the outside and was very inviting, inside was cosy and decorated in the local style with lots of bears!The menu is full of Black Forest specialities (deer, boar, rabbit, pork), all rustic and delicious - I had the stuffed venison with cheese and local bacon, my wife had pork with dumplings. All in all a great place to eat and will go back!
