We liked going there, but the last time in a large group the colleague had to give her meat back because it was so tough. Mine was also pretty streaky, but then I cut around it and just left the silverskin/tendon in the plate. When I was asked when I was clearing away whether it was tasty, I just said that I had already given my feedback. Then the boss came with a piece of meat with a nice fat edge and wanted to make it clear to me that my piece was cut off from this piece. He told me that I had no idea. Pretty embarrassing that he had to do that instead of admitting that it was just a bad piece that he gave me. Everyone at the table saw it and they probably also saw the leftovers on the pla...
We have been dining at The Falken ever since we moved to the area. This large pub restaurant offers a wide menu with a mix of traditional Swiss dishes, European staples and American belly fillers. There is something for everyone, great quality meats and fish on the hot stone, burgers, salads and weekly specials. The service is excellent with friendly staff who remember you and always make time to check on you. The atmosphere is friendly and they are open later than most other places in town. They are only open from 17.00 and closed on Sundays.
I always enjoy the lively atmosphere and the diverse events at the Falken Restaurant. The rustic ambience is inviting, and the food from fondue to beef is consistently delicious. Whether for a drink at the bar or a cozy evening, I always enjoy coming here. A great place for good entertainment and relaxing moments.
Was here to eat. The food was absolutely first class from the starter to the dessert! The meat from the hot stone is absolutely top and highly recommended! There is a large beer menu with 34 different beers, and there is also a very good and exquisite selection of various whiskeys.
