husband and I decided to look for a good fish and chip shop while I visited buxton. we were not disappointed when we visited Gastro-Fry. Our cod was perfectly cooked and coated in a slightly crispy teig, an exceptional plate of food to finish it, very generous portions. thanks Gastro-Fry.

I came by chance over this chip, as I have vacation here and normally I leave the half of my chips and fish, this chip store has eaten me all because it is the best chip store I've ever been, I wish I go in the opposite and not london I would be here every day

Called for fish and chips, after a trip to Buxton. Was going to eat them in the car, but the lads set up 2 tables in the shop for us, so we could eat them inside. The food was cooked to order, and was delicious. Would definitely recommend

Excellent traditional fish and chips. Plus loads of other menu options. Huge portions and cooked fresh to order (always a good indicator). One item of feedback is the extras peas, curry gravy etc tubs are too small.

best fish and chips I had for years! we came to closing times, but they were happy to stay open and serve us. I'd make it up to you!
