I saw a job posting on Indeed for walk in/open interview. So I filled out the paperwork on Indeed, go there, did the application on their server, sign the offer letter they gave me and later that day I submitted my background check. A week passes and I call HR and was told that I will be getting a call or email about orientation later on that week. Well the full week comes and goes, the following week I call again, same answer, but no call back or orientation. 1 star for wasted time and getting my hopes up, it's very unprofessional and heartless. HR's name is Margarita, should've known it was a scam by her name alone.
I’m a flight attendant and we had the best experience today with one of the caterers. It was for flight AA2397. His name was Gary Madourie. He was wonderful. We had a long flight ahead of us and didn’t get catered with the food for sale. We had already begun boarding and our communication from our work phones was not working. Gary made the phone call for us to get the inflight food we needed for the passengers. He went out of his way to help us and we ended up getting catered just in time. Gary, thank you. We see so many caterers each day, and you definitely stand out as amazing. Thank you!!
Amazing experience with Gate Gourmet and Mr. Jose Rivera. Somehow, while on an American Airlines flight my phone was lost and ended up in the flight attendants ice bin. I located the device the next day using find my IPhone and contacted Gate Gourmet. Mr. Rivera went out of his way to help locate my phone and contacted me immediately when it was located. I had also contacted American Airlines to file a report, but it was Mr. Rivera who saved the day! Thank you.
The staff are rude and terrible. It's unsanitary.they don't clean . The HR . They are the worst people . There mean and rude to you for know reason . I'll never go back . They do not clean there . But they make food for a lot of flights . I just when I get on the plane . I want be getting any food .

The leaders at this restaurant play favorites by engaging in relationships with the workers and often don't enforce proper hygiene practices, such as wearing gloves or washing hands after using the restroom. Additionally, I had a confrontation with the night shift supervisor.
Managers will take advantage of u if ur a hard worker. Lazy co workers. So u feed them in a way. Managers are scared of the lazy people. Not bad pay but pretty lame managers. Specially James and Freddie. “Karen” type lady in HR by Amy or some idk. But she a Karen for sure.
I used to work at that restaurant a long time ago. African-American employees did not seem to do half the work of Hispanic employees, as they were favored by supervisors of the same race. I believe there are numerous areas in which the company could improve.
Unfortunately, Gate Gourmet was scheduled to cater our American Airlines flight departing from Chicago O'Hare at 1:40pm. However, the catering was not done in a timely manner, resulting in a significant delay to the flight.

Don’t recommend semi truck delivery or pickup, 53ft is impossible to backup in tight area, forcing to wear mask, Mandate is far over. I guess this company are heavily Depressed post-covid.
