I ordered large oxtails rice n peas with cabbage I wanted plantains but they were out. This was my 1st time back in Jersey in 17years I was craving some good Caribbean food and this did not satisfy my craving.nobody greeted me but was happy to take my $26 and atmosphere was a little dark /gloomy to tbh nothing like I expected. I’m assuming they ran out of seasoning because baby the food was bland as hell rice was watered down and oxtails had more fat than meat this was a major disappointment i read some reviews which states this place is hit or miss and baby it was definitely a miss I won’t be back here and won’t be recommending this spot to anyone
I arrived around 8 PM after a long day at work and, feeling tired, decided not to make the trip to my usual spot for West Indian food. Instead, I discovered this little gem. I ordered the curry goat along with all the veggies to meet my dietary preferences. The food was fresh, wonderfully seasoned, and the meat was tender. I was pleasantly surprised, as I usually don't like trying new restaurants, but I will definitely return to explore different menu options. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was very welcoming. Highly recommended!
I'm struggling to find the right words to express just how amazing their food is—it nearly brought me to tears. I visited for the first time today after walking by for some time. The gentleman behind the counter was incredibly welcoming and recommended the brown stew chicken with rice and cabbage. Let me tell you, it was packed with flavor, clearly made with love, and had so much soul. I couldn't help but dance! Originally from Brooklyn, this food tastes just like home. I'll definitely be returning!
Tryna find the right words to explain how damn good their food is. Almost brings a tear to my eye. I went there for the first time today after walking by for a while. The man behind the counter, who was incredibly hospitable, recommended Brown stew chicken, rice cabbage. Yall! Its so flavorful and clearly made with love and its got SOUL. I started dancing. Im from Brooklyn originally and this food taste like home! Ill be back for sure !!

Wow! The jerk chicken and sides (cabbage and rice and peas) were bursting with flavor. The jerk chicken was juicy and tender. This is definitely my go-to Jamaican restaurant!

This restaurant serve the best Oxtail in Orange. Don't underestimate this spot. Food can be a bit pricey, especially on oxtail, but I recommend you try it at least once.
They can’t jerk a chicken and food is old please save your money
