I have been frequenting Gee's for over twenty years so I knew what to expect in terms of atmosphere which was as excellent as ever, even at 9am. The service too was first class. The drinks were coffee fine; likewise iced water; however the orange juice was ordinary, not up to Gee's customary extremely high standards. I would happily pay more for freshly squeezed. My companion had the small pizza which she said was good. I had the breakfast bap/bun but asked to have toast instead of the bun. What came was most disappointing: two pieces of dry, ie unbuttered, toast between which was a shrivelled egg, a minuscule piece of bacon and less than half a sausage sliced down the middle, a poor apology...
Gees is one of our favourite restaurants. Staff deliver exceptional service. The menu is extensive and desirable. The ambience is great but can sometimes be a little noisy, as it was today Not withstanding that we had a great lunch!!!!
Service and ambience is good but it’s become too expensive for what it delivers in terms of food. £20 for a burger which is quite small and was dry is too much. For 3 main course only we paid £80. Would not rush back.
The food was super good. The place is cozy and the atmosphere is perfect (a bit too noisy in the glass house) the staff are friendly but very professional. We will definitely come back many times.

I’ve been going to Gees for 40 years and it never disappoints. Lovely meal in a super venue. Our waiter was great knew his stuff and guided us with our choices. Don’t change a thing please.
Gees is our go too place and we have been coming for years. Certainly the best restaurant in Oxford and always has a nice atmosphere.
The burger had a strange after taste and was burned. The sea bream was delicious. The pork was fine The prawn pasta was average
Great experience overall. Brunch is particularly good because it's less crowded and thus quieter (it can get loud at dinner).
