A few friends and I stopped in after hiking at the state park nearby for some lunch, and I think we made a great choice! This is a no-frills, laid-back diner (so don't expect anything super fancy or cushy) that concentrates its efforts on their food. The crab dip we ordered came with the perfect amount of soft pretzel bread and some saltine crackers, and their cheesesteaks were huge and delicious (both pictured)! Coming from the city, you definitely get a lot more food for what you pay, and everything we tried was well worth it. The staff and other patrons were all very friendly and gave great recommendations. Will definitely stop by again when I'm in the area!

The service was equally impressive, also deserving a 5. The atmosphere was delightful and added to the overall enjoyment, giving it another solid 5. I highly recommend trying their Cheeseburger Sub; it's truly a must-try dish!

Stopped in Gene's for lunch. Chili was great, the fries crispy and not greasy, great atmosphere and friendly attentive staff. Fair priced meal and draft beer. Repeat visits for sure!
