I love a pub quiz. After I was introduced into a rather hearty house, my Tuesday evenings are mostly booked. what makes this little night to rub her brain for answer is eat. more and more pubs are represented with their food. no more Dodgy freezer or microwave dishes, its all about a few fresh scrub in her abdomen.The george vulture gets it completely right. a handful of sourdough pizzas make the cut on the menu on a Tuesday night. beyond the pizza they do other dishes and snacks, but the pizza is what my imagination has taken, so every time I go there, I must have it. the pizza selections are cured meat, my choice with salami napoli, salami calabrese, parma ham and red chili. absolutely b...

Made a reservation for late lunch and arrived, our table was there. We ordered at the bar and waited for what seemed 30 minutes for a couple of pizzas. After asking, we were told there was a large group and they ordered before us. Maybe so, we didn't see they did and maybe they booked too. Either way, would have been helpful to be told as we had meetings to go back to and the wait meant our lunch was very rushed and we returned late to our work. The other thing that surprised me was that online the price is 9 quid, but I was charged 12!!! No receipt. I said I thought it was 9. I had checked menus before hand. The guy behind the bar, I assume the landlord was so rude. He might need to remember that customers are customers! I asked for mustard to go with my pork pie (over priced for the quality), he insisted on putting the mustard in a pot even though I asked for it on the plate and was asked 'why am I being so impatient '. After waiting for a good 30 minutes (it wasn 't busy) my pizza never turned up. I didn 't ask him where it was as I didn 't want to look impatient again! When he did come over, and I asked where my pizza was he scuttled back into the pub to cook it. Offering no apology! this is one of the best pizzas I had in london. the two chefs are Italian. the pizza is really easy (mark that the teig has been raised properly) despite the toppings (with some that might not seem very traditional, but they all work together, I definitely recommend this place, especially on Monday, if it is 241 for every pizza and bottle of beer

Had a problem the previous week but the manager (Simon) rectified it immediately, couldn't had asked for any better customer service. My wife and myself had roast beef for lunch, one of the best Sunday roast i have had. Top quality ingredients and plentiful. Fantastic staff and great atmosphere

We cycled around the area and we liked the vibe of this place as it was quite busy for the outside seating area. So we decided to stop buy and have some drinks and a nice Sunday lunch. Staff very nice, service was good. Will definitely come back again.

This is our local. It’s always absolutely rammed, but a nice place to pop for after work drinks. Quiz format is really good too.

the whole fucking farmbread was incredible. the personal super friendly and very courteous of my dog. highly recommended!
