Usually the total experience is amazing at George Bistro. This visit we were a little disappointed. To start the evening, they did not have the cocktail that I was looking forward to. They said it was seasonal and although the bartender did not offer to make something similar, the waitress recommended another drink that I might like. The octopus appetizer did not have much flavor which surprised me since I had eaten it before. My husband enjoyed his mussels. The bone marrow that I ordered was delicious as usual and the Lamb was good. Our waitress was attentive and sweet and the ambiance was festive for the holidays yet nice and quiet. I love this place! A beautiful restaurant with a first class staff. The menu is clever, delicious and the food is presented beautifully. Wine list was surprisingly sublime (for a bistro/pub). Has an outstanding buffet if you are there on a weekend. Very close to Pensacola's mall. I liked everything, but here's the question I will answer. Would I go again when visiting Pensacola? Absolutely.

Excellent. The meal, the service, the place... everything was excellent. The bone marrow was perfectly cooked it was hot and yet not melted. The file mignon was a thick cut of meat cooked exactly how I ordered it. Overall, it was a really pleasant experience.

Jesse offered his help to us today as our server and he was delightful! Thoroughly enjoyed his attentiveness and professional flare. The food was outstanding! We split the vegetable feature salad and it was well portioned and stunningly displayed.
