Great pub in Waterloo. Have been meaning to come here for months and finally got there this weekend. Will def be back! So many things to like! The Taco King is worth the trip alone. Unreal authentic Mexican eats here. Will definitely be back for dinner to try the taco Al pastor (they only do these for dinner as I've heard it's a must try. Besides that the team there were super friendly and helpful. We tried 4 different tacos and tostidos and has to go back for seconds with the fish taco. Amazing! The pub side of things is solid too. Came here the other night for some tacos. We tried every taco on the menu. They were pretty tasty but not without fault. The pub itself isn’t much to look at. I haven’t been before but apparently it’s been renovated, I couldn’t tell... Because of this I felt the price of tacos was too high. Price on the menu should be a reflection of the quality of the food and the dining experience. The George fell short in department 2. Good tacos but I probably won’t be back.

The Thai bar staff were very friendly There seemed to be a good selection of good priced food. Something that was a bit problematic for me was that the bar is smokey because smoke comes in through from the smoking area out the back. Because it is still kind of undercover the smoke travels through into the main bar. Smoke will always travel under roofs and canopies

The George Hotel offers a classic dining experience with excellent service and enticing specials. They have two happy hours throughout the day, along with a "beer of the week" option, priced at $15 for a jug or $5 for a schooner – definitely worth a try! Staff are really nice and the beer tap selection is good but we came for the tacos are they were only ok. We ate pretty much all on offer to try them out. We were very sober though so maybe they’re better after you’ve had a few more drinks.

We're looking forward to reconnecting with old friends while enjoying a cold beer and a fantastic lunch. Everything on the menu is delicious! We shared plenty of laughs, left with full bellies, and had smiles all around.

Not to bad no bottle shop funny no take away alcohol but food you can't. Such a shame anout the bottle shop. The hotel around the street has rake away and not a big selection but they at least have one

Lovely staff attend to any thought you may have... Comfortable aesthetics..dank style... Barely left Pokie fun, spacious rooms! Lost money had heaps of fun overall 7.5/10!! Reserva una mesa ahora

I stopped by the George for a beer and found it to be a charming neighborhood pub with a genuine local atmosphere. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in the vicinity.

Nice staff, open till 2am (alot later than most of the bars in the area) can go there for a late night drinks and extremely reasonable prices. Would recommend
