George's - Reserva de mesa

This bar is just outside the walls on Bishop's St without and it's one of the best bars I've been in. It caught my eye a few weeks back, so while in Derry again yesterday, I decided to call in. It's not a large place, but it's comfortable, and you could easily spend a few hours here. All the customers seemed to be locals, and I'd say that they are very loyal to their bar. Even though I didn't stay long, they made me feel very welcome, and only because I had other commitments, I would have stayed longer. On leaving, a few of the punters wished me good luck. I felt like I belonged.

I visit Derry on a regular basis.. Georges Bar is a place I love to go ...People are very welcoming and nice... Seany who runs the bar is someone that personally greets the new visitors . They have music on most weekend s when I visited the guy called Michael Mc cafferty was playing Just Fantastic very wide range of songs .... Would recommend this homely place to anyone

This is a fantastic little bar located just outside the walls of Derry. I had a wonderful time here and enjoyed their delicious stout. However, my visit was cut short when two drunken girls (who I believe were twins) came in and started trying to sing along with the music playing. One of them mentioned she used to sing solo at funerals - heaven help the mourners!

We were staying close by and decided to have a quiet Guinness. As soon as we entered, we were drawn into the lively conversation of the other customers and received a friendly Irish greeting. This bar is fantastic! The prices are reasonable, the staff is friendly, and it's a great spot to hang out with locals. The atmosphere is lively and I will definitely be back on every trip.

The restaurant lacks in size but makes up for it in character. It has a cozy, authentic Irish atmosphere and is a great place to experience the local culture.

Ahh georges. Never a dull night in here. Always great craic. Bar staff are more than friendly and always full of friendly locals. A must visit.

Georges is the spot for a few quiet pints and the best jukebox in Derry! Friendly staff and decent enough locals.
