George's Market At Dreshertown

Terrible experience at George’s. This is my second time here. I ordered a cake for a rehearsal dinner. The price is listed as $26.99 for a half sheet. When I was going thru the order with the baker, he asked me if I wanted the pound cake. I said yes. When I just came to pick up my order, the name was spelled wrong and the price is $39.99. When the girl came back with my cake after she fixed it, she immediately gave me attitude and said “I’m not a cake decorator” and it was obvious. Management came over and resolved absolutely nothing so I had to leave with a more expensive cake that looks terrible.

I like the salad bar, but the dressing containers are refillable, and I don't think they are cleaned out before being refilled. They look dirty on the outside and also are very hard to reach.... other than that, the salad bar is good.

This place has a beautiful selection of deli items and food of all sorts. They catered for an event my family had. It is worth checking out.

Great, family owned and run market. If you hate Giant, like I do, try George's!!! Better produce, better customer service, better people!!
